Middle iOS Developer (Swift) — ITwebs

We are looking for a Middle iOS Developer to join our outstaff/outsource team on a full-time remote basis.

The specialist will build, enhance, and maintain iOS applications across a diverse portfolio of client projects. You will implement new features, ensure code quality through reviews and testing, and collaborate with analysts, testers, and designers to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop new features, maintain, and improve existing iOS applications (greenfield and ongoing projects).

• Write clean, scalable, and testable Swift code, following SOLID principles.

• Build user interfaces using both UIKit and SwiftUI depending on project needs.

• Participate in architectural decisions and apply design patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or VIPER.

• Integrate with REST APIs using Alamofire, Moya, or URLSession.

• Implement local data storage with CoreData, Realm, or SQLite.

• Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing (XCTest), and UI testing.

• Work with asynchronous operations using GCD and async/await.

• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (as a plus) and use Git with git flow.

• Collaborate directly with analysts, testers, and client teams to clarify requirements and deliver on time.

• Produce clear technical documentation and participate in knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of commercial iOS development experience.

• Strong proficiency in Swift and deep understanding of its functional features (Collections, Optionals, Protocol-Oriented, Generics).

• Solid experience with UIKit and SwiftUI, including custom UI elements and complex layouts.

• Hands-on knowledge of at least one architectural pattern: MVVM, MVP, or VIPER.

• Experience with networking: REST API, HTTP/JSON, Alamofire / Moya / URLSession.

• Multithreading: GCD and Structured Concurrency (async/await).

• Dependency injection and building loosely coupled, testable code.

• Experience with local persistence (CoreData, Realm, or SQLite).

• Proficient with Git and understanding of collaborative workflows (git flow, code review).

• Ability to write unit tests and familiarity with CI/CD concepts.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously.

• English: at least B1 (enough to read technical documentation and communicate in writing).

Nice to have:

• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Jenkins, GitLab CI).

• Knowledge of Combine framework.

• Experience with Swift Package Manager.

• iOS Accessibility (VoiceOver, UIAccessibility).

• Custom animations and complex gesture handling.

• Previous work in fintech, e-commerce, or high-load applications.

• Understanding of design patterns (Coordinators, Clean Architecture).
