Main Responsibilities

• Writing and executing manual scenarios in Gherkin (BDD style).

• Identifying, prioritizing, and analysing bugs.

• Delivering clear quality reports to stakeholders.

• Implementing and improving regression scenarios.

• Participating in and facilitating quality ceremonies (Bug Triage, 3 Amigos, Quality Chapter).

• Designing, developing, and maintaining product‑oriented automated scenarios.

• Contributing to the adaptation and improvement of the global Quality Strategy.

• Sharing best practices within the squad.

About the project

QA Engineer (Manual & Automation)

We are looking for a candidate to join the Product team and take ownership of product quality within a cross‑functional environment. The role combines manual exploration, product‑oriented automation, and system thinking to ensure that every delivered feature is valuable, reliable, and resilient. The position requires a cross‑functional QA with a shift‑left mindset, focused on identifying issues as early as possible and maintaining an end‑to‑end quality vision.

The ideal candidate brings seniority and experience across manual testing, functional testing, and automation (API and UI). Automation is not yet a full‑time responsibility, but the team is moving toward increased automation. Given the current setup with few testers and many developers, the client cannot accommodate a full‑time automation specialist, so it is essential that candidates are comfortable performing both manual and automation tasks rather than seeking a purely manual role or a fully dedicated automation position.
