Senior DSP Engineer

A European product engineering team developing next-generation radar and perception technologies for automotive and industrial applications is expanding its R&D group.

The company works on advanced sensor systems combining radar, computer vision, machine learning and embedded platforms. Engineers are involved in the entire development cycle, from research and architecture design to real-time implementation and product deployment.

The team brings together experts in signal processing, electronics, robotics and AI, creating products for demanding international markets. Projects include advanced radar systems, functional safety, high-performance embedded computing and close collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Location: Belgrade, Niš (Serbia) / Skopje (North Macedonia) / Timișoara (Romania) / Barcelona, Valencia {Spain) / Munich (Germany).

Work format: On-site, full-time

We are looking for a Senior DSP Engineer who will work on the development of Radar and Camera algorithms (Matlab/Python) and their implementation on different DSP platforms.

Responsibilities

*🌸*Development of Python/Matlab models of modern DSP algorithms for object detection, classification and tracking in radar/camera images;

*🌸*Implementation of Python/Matlab models on real-time DSP platforms (DSP processors, general purpose processors, dedicated HW accelerators);

*🌸*Designing optimal radar waveforms for different sensing applications and close collaboration with RF IC and Antenna teams for selecting the optimal antenna topology;

*🌸*Be deeply involved in people development by mentoring junior and mid-level engineers;

*🌸*Improve day-to-day operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures on projects.

Qualifications

*💦*6+ years of algorithm development expertise;

*💦*Dipl. Ing or Master's degree; PhD is encouraged;

*💦*Experience in high-scale projects with reporting, presentations, conferences, subversion systems, bug tracking, etc.;

*💦*Deep theoretical understanding of basic signal processing concepts and practical experience with advanced signal processing methods;

*💦*Ability to construct complex decisioning on top of advanced DSP algorithms using ML is considered an advantage;

*💦*Advanced knowledge of Matlab/Python programming languages and DSP/ML libraries;

*💦*Advanced implementation skills of Matlab/Python algorithms on digital signal processing platforms;

*💦*Excellent written and spoken English;

*💦*Ability to rapidly understand and implement solutions based on technical documentation, minimizing the time from analysis to execution.
