Senior Frontend Engineer

Company: Tether Operations Limited

Tether builds reserve-backed digital tokens (including USDT) and a suite of products spanning finance, energy, data, education and evolving web3 services. The team focuses on secure, transparent blockchain solutions and global-scale products like KEET for private data sharing.

Responsibilities:

• Translate AI intelligence into intuitive, reliable user experiences for the product (QV.AC).
• Deliver new features and bug fixes with focus on reliability, performance and user satisfaction.
• Maintain high codebase quality through coding standards, code reviews and automated testing.
• Design and develop responsive, high-performance UI and manage application state across platforms.
• Test and debug complex frontend applications to ensure seamless user experiences.
• Collaborate effectively within a remote, globally distributed team.

Requirements:

• Proven production experience with React or Preact and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong competency in state management (Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or similar).
• Ability to write modular, maintainable and well-tested code.
• Solid skills in testing and debugging complex frontend applications.
• Interest or experience with P2P technologies or distributed systems.
• Good English communication skills and comfort working in a remote global team.

Nice to have:

• Experience with desktop app development (Electron, Tauri or similar).
• Familiarity with video/audio APIs (WebRTC, media streams) and real-time communication.
• Demonstrated UI performance optimization: rendering and memory management.
• Experience building cross-platform desktop apps (macOS, Windows, Linux).
• Contributions to open-source projects, especially in P2P or decentralized tech.
