To fuel Swappie's profitable growth and advance our mission of making refurbished electronics mainstream, we are looking for a Senior Planning Analyst to take ownership of planning within our commercial organization and help us continue building the function as we scale into new categories.

At Swappie, planning is what protects our cash flow and enables sustainable growth. The role requires commercial judgment alongside analytical capability: understanding how units flow through Swappie operations, what drives margin and cash flow, and how to prioritize across competing signals. Your mission is to deliver sharp replenishment signals and protect inventory health across the portfolio, while continuously advancing how we plan through sharper forecasts and better tooling.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO

\* Commercial ownership: Run the weekly supply planning cycle. You will plan how many units of which devices we purchase and when, based on inventory levels, run-rate logic, and expected sales mix. You own demand forecast reviews and contribute to the development of forecasting itself.

\* Inventory and margin management: Own inventory allocation and inventory health across the portfolio. You will balance availability against aging risk and working capital, and flag commercial implications before they hit margin or cash flow.

\* Build the tools: Take end-to-end ownership of our internal planning tools. You will document and improve their logic to keep pace with the business as it scales. Our team builds with Claude Code today and we expect you to use AI tools to accelerate this work and push our practices forward.

\* Run cross-functional planning: Maintain and develop our S&OP cadence, and own the commercial planning input to the annual budget process. You will prepare and present in planning meetings, ensuring stakeholders leave with a clear view of priorities and supply risks.

\* Strategic collaboration: Act as the primary planning point of contact for Markets, Operations, Purchasing, and Finance. You will translate planning outputs into clear business risks, flag commercial implications proactively, and push back on commercial decisions when the data calls for it.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM

Planning at Swappie is cross-functional and rarely offers definitive answers. We need someone who can prioritize across competing signals, combine analytical capability with commercial judgment, and take ownership of how planning runs as the business scales. We operate with high trust and high expectations, meaning we are looking for an autonomous problem-solver who takes full ownership of their work.

\* Experience: You have 3+ years of experience in a highly impactful analytical role (e.g. analytics, planning, management consulting). If you already have hands-on supply or demand planning experience, that is a huge plus.

\* Technical fluency: You have strong skills in SQL, spreadsheets, and data visualization.

\* AI fluency: You actively use AI tools in your day-to-day work and understand where they add value in analytical and planning contexts. You are genuinely curious about how we can use AI to make our planning processes even sharper.

\* Commercial acumen: You have a structured, analytical mindset. You know how to connect planning decisions to inventory health, margin, and working capital implications, and discuss trade-offs with commercial stakeholders on their terms.

\* High autonomy: You thrive working independently and are naturally wired to spot what needs fixing and just make it happen.

\* Education: A Master's degree from a related field is preferred.
