Position: Senior QA Engineer (Java)

❗️We are looking for a Senior automated QA Engineer to join the existing product team.

This team focuses on developing cloud-based software to manage the full life cycle of investments, including trade capture, positions, profit and loss (P&L), performance, and other key aspects.

You will work closely with various trading leads and other senior leaders. This role will be instrumental in advancing our Middle Office transformation initiative by providing our investment teams with a rich, near-real-time, and accurate view of trades, positions, P&L, and performance, as well as technology teams with standardized interfaces to access accurate information in a timely manner. We seek an individual with a proven track record for building complex financial systems.

Position services provide asset managers with real-time data on the performance and valuation of financial assets. This enables timely decision-making and investment strategy adjustments in response to market conditions. They also enable asset managers to analyze portfolio performance by attributing returns to specific assets or strategies. This helps understand what drives performance and makes informed investment decisions. Our middle office transformation initiative will completely transform our business workflows by delivering efficiency across processes, providing our investment teams with more accurate and timely access to positions, profit and loss (P&L), and performance.

Must-have:

**▫️Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Math (is a must)

▫️Manual Testing Expertise: 8+ years of hands-on experience for both back-end and front-end services

▫️Test Automation: 5+ years of strong experience with Java application testing**

▫️Experience in testing cloud-based applications

▫️Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment

▫️Ability to work independently and learn complex business domains quickly

▫️Experience in reading and analyzing logs

▫️Solid understanding of SDLC and QA practices

▫️Experience with the Python programming language

▫️Experience in writing and reading SQL

▫️Experience in using AI to develop test cases/scenarios

▫️Confident English communication skills (both spoken and written)

What you’ll be working on:

▫️Build QA processes and define testing strategy from the ground up

▫️Develop and maintain backend auto-tests, regression framework, & reconciliation tools

▫️Design and execute test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements

▫️Perform functional and integration testing, which involves upstream and downstream systems

▫️Manage and maintain testing environments

Nice to have:

▫️Experience with financial projects

▫️Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub, Gitlab)

▫️Experience with Datadog, Splunk or similar tools

▫️Experience with Linux
