A European product engineering team developing next-generation radar and perception technologies for automotive and industrial applications is expanding its R&D group.

The company works on advanced sensor systems combining radar, computer vision, machine learning and embedded platforms. Engineers are involved in the entire development cycle, from research and architecture design to real-time implementation and product deployment.

The team brings together experts in signal processing, electronics, robotics and AI, creating products for demanding international markets. Projects include advanced radar systems, functional safety, high-performance embedded computing and close collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Location: Belgrade, Serbia

Work format: On-site, full-time

We are looking for a Senior Robotics Engineer (Algorithms, ML & Software) to join our team. This role requires a highly motivated and experienced professional who can design, develop, and integrate robotics algorithms and ML-based systems across the full autonomy stack.

Key Responsibilities

*🌸*Develop and integrate robotics algorithms and ML-based systems for perception, state estimation, planning, and control;

*🌸*Integrate multi-sensor perception outputs (camera, LiDAR, radar, IMU) into autonomy and decision-making stacks;

*🌸*Build and maintain robot software stacks for diverse platforms;

*🌸*Implement and tune algorithms for localization, mapping, sensor fusion, motion planning, trajectory optimization, and learning-based behaviors;

*🌸*Work closely with perception and vision teams to consume and validate ML-based outputs (detection, depth, tracking);

*🌸*Deploy and optimize robotics software on embedded and edge compute platforms;

*🌸*Support integration of autonomy stacks into real robots for demos, testing, and customer use;

*🌸*Debug system-level autonomy issues spanning sensors, algorithms, and software interactions.

Required Skills

*💦*Bachelor's degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field;

*💦*6+ years of experience in robotics algorithms, autonomy, or robotics software engineering;

*💦*Strong foundation in state estimation & sensor fusion, motion planning & control, localization & mapping;

*💦*Strong software engineering skills in C++ and/or Python;

*💦*Experience deploying robotics algorithms on real robotic platforms.

Preferred Skills

*💦*ROS / ROS 2 and modern robotics middleware;

*💦*Learning-based robotics, reinforcement learning, or imitation learning;

*💦*Experience integrating ML models into real-time robotic systems;

*💦*Experience with simulation tools such as Gazebo, Isaac Sim, etc.;

*💦*Experience across multiple robot morphologies (mobile, manipulation, legged);

*💦*Systems-level thinking and understanding of the full autonomy stack;

*💦*Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments;

*💦*Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration in a dynamic environment;

*💦*Self-driven with a bias toward action and real-world deployment.
