Coinbase is looking for a highly motivated accounting professional to play a key role in our continued growth and achievement of operational excellence. The Accounting Manager, Prime Financing will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a dynamic, high-growth technology company.

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, Prime Brokerage and Digital Assets, the Accounting Manager, Prime Financing will work with various teams to build processes and controls from the ground up, in addition to leading a team through the monthly financial close and quarterly/annual reporting process. This position requires impeccable attention to detail and a focus on process improvement.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Review monthly financing accounting entries and reconciliations
• Lead the development of scalable and automated financial processes and controls, including drafting of standard operating procedures
• Stay current on SEC regulations and lending practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide accounting insights and recommendations
• Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting
• Oversee platform and brokerage accounting activities and assist in the design and implementation of new controls and processes
• Assist in the development and implementation of scalable accounting processes

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

• CPA required.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience with a mix of Big 4 public accounting and industry experience in the fintech/financial services industries
• Experience working at a publicly traded company
• Possess excellent analytical skills, business partnering, problem solving and prioritization skills
• Able to work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements
• Experience working in Netsuite, FloQast and G-Suite
• Demonstrates the ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots (e.g., LibreChat, Gemini, Glean) in daily workflows, continuously learn as tools evolve, and apply human-in-the-loop practices to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, and quality.

Nice to haves:

• Experience working in Netsuite, FloQast and Google SuiteExperience working in a SOX control environment.
• Basic knowledge of digital assets and the crypto economy, or a desire to learn
• Basic SQL knowledge and experience with reporting/analytics tools (Snowflake, Looker, etc.).
• Experience in working at bank, fin-tech, financial regulatory agency and/or professional service firm serving financial institution clients.

Pay Transparency Notice:Depending on your work location, the target annual base salary for this position can range as detailed below. Total compensation may also include equity and bonus eligibility and benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).

Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus):

$166,345—$195,700 USD
