The Program

The Picnic APM Program is an immersive 18 months experience across our consumer products, designed to turn talented graduates and early-career professionals into world-class product managers. From day one, you’ll be in the driver's seat, owning critical projects and shipping features that have an immediate impact.

Your Journey

• Foundations & rotations: Your first year is dedicated to building a strong foundation, working closely with a lead Product Manager on a core product. You will learn the tricks of the trade, focusing on everything ranging from user research and analysis to technical implementation. After the first year, you’ll broaden your expertise with a six-month rotation in another consumer-facing team.
• Focus on the consumer experience: You'll dive deep into the heart of our products. Your rotations will be within consumer teams, where you could be shaping the future of our Store app, innovating on our personalization platform, refining search and ranking algorithms, or optimizing our payment systems.
• Dedicated mentorship: Learn from the best. You'll be paired with a senior product leader who will act as your mentor, guiding your development, challenging your thinking, and helping you navigate your career path.
• Continuous learning: Your program kicks off with 2 days in our operations to see firsthand how we deliver to our customers. Next is meeting your team. From day one, you’ll own projects and ship features, supported by a continuous curriculum of trainings, workshops, and skill-building sessions.
• Global perspective: During the program, you'll travel to one of our international hubs. You'll meet with local teams, conduct user research, and dive deep into how technology and customer needs differ across markets, bringing back insights to shape our global product strategy.
• Launch your career: The APM Program is just the beginning. Upon graduation, we'll work with you to find the perfect product team where you can continue to grow and make a long-term impact as a Product Manager at Picnic.

Your superpowers

We’re looking for future leaders who are hungry to learn, eager to build, and passionate about our mission. You don’t need years of product management experience, but you do need to show us you have the raw talent and drive to succeed.

• Master's graduate, or up to max. two years of professional experience, with a background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related Quantitative field.
• Builder at heart. You've taken initiative and created something from scratch—whether that's a side project, a new club, or your own startup.
• Natural curiosity and empathy for users. You want to understand, are always asking "why", and think about how to make things better.
• Go-getter personality. You're biased toward action and constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery.

*\*Please Note:*This is not a one-time hire. We’re hiring for this role throughout the year as part of our ongoing growth and expansion. An EU working permit or citizenship is required.
