Team & Role Overview

Work within the global Cloud Security function, leading cloud security delivery across the APAC region while operating under the direction and strategy of the Global Cloud Security Lead. This role provides regional leadership and execution capability across engineering and operational cloud security activities within APAC. The position ensures alignment to globally defined cloud security standards, controls, and architectural direction. You will partner with regional Infrastructure, DevOps, Risk, and business stakeholders to ensure secure and compliant cloud operations, while contributing to the broader global cloud security roadmap. This role combines technical leadership, regional stakeholder management, and team oversight in a high-performance, technology-driven investment environment.

Your future role within QRT

• Lead cloud security engineering and operational delivery across APAC AWS environments.
• Implement global cloud security strategy, standards, and guardrails within the region.
• Act as the senior regional escalation point for cloud security matters.
• Manage and mentor APAC-based cloud security engineers and operations specialists.
• Drive regional execution of security uplift initiatives defined in the global roadmap.
• Ensure consistent enforcement of IAM, SCPs, encryption standards, and security baselines.
• Oversee monitoring, triage, and remediation of cloud security findings within APAC.
• Partner with regional stakeholders to embed security into cloud projects and initiatives.
• Provide structured reporting on regional cloud security posture, risks, and remediation progress.
• Escalate systemic or architectural risks to the Global Cloud Security Lead with clear recommendations.
• Contribute regional insights to global cloud security planning and maturity initiatives.

Your present skillset

• Extensive hands-on experience in AWS cloud security engineering and operations.
• Strong understanding of IAM, organisational governance, SCPs, encryption, and AWS-native security tooling.
• Experience leading technical teams within cloud or platform security domains.
• Ability to translate global security strategy into practical regional implementation
• Experience operating within security-sensitive environments.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across technical, risk, and business functions.
• Structured decision-making ability with clear risk articulation and escalation discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to lead without creating operational silos.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset suited to a globally distributed team structure.
