The role:

As a Backend Engineer,you will be a pivotal contributor in shaping Truecaller's technology, driving demonstrable improvements to the user experience and business profitability. You will get an opportunity to develop Backend APIs using the latest technologies and frameworks using Go, gRPC and other HTTP/2 technologies.

What you’ll do:

The role encompasses complete, end-to-end ownership of backend development responsibilities right from requirement clarifications till deployment.

• Designing robust, scalable, and highly performant backend solutions, ensuring alignment with overall platform architecture and best practices for the high-traffic demands.
• Writing clean, efficient, well-tested, and maintainable code, adhering to established engineering standards, to implement the defined feature specifications.
• Managing CI/CD pipelines to successfully roll out features.
• Post-deployment monitoring, troubleshooting, and stabilizing the feature within the live production environment.

What you bring in:

• 2 to 5 years of experience as Backend developer in a start-up or product based environment.
• Excellent knowledge of Java/Golang or any object oriented or functional programming language.
• Deep understanding of Data structures and Algorithms.

It would be great if you also have:

• Proficient in micro-service architecture, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain large-scale platforms and services utilizing Java/non-Java technologies (e.g., Scala), Redis, Kafka, and NoSQL stores.
