We’re seeking a Civil Engineer to be based in Somerset, PA. In this role, this individual will gain hands-on experience working on a wide variety of projects- including mining sites, power generation (wind, solar, and power plants), industrial/commercial/and residential developments, and more. This civil engineer will work closely with experienced professionals who are committed to mentorship and supporting long-term career growth.

Your Responsibilities as a Civil Engineer:

• Perform detailed and conceptual civil engineering design, including site layout, grading, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and utility planning.
• Prepare and review design plans, technical specifications, cost estimates, calculations, and reports.
• Assist the Project Manager with overall project coordination, including scheduling, budgeting, and task assignments.
• Track project progress, manage deliverables, and ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Support the development of proposals, scope documents, and client presentations.
• Assist in the permit application and approval process, coordinating with local, state, and federal agencies.
• Participate in client and contractor meetings, documenting action items and facilitating follow-up.
• Contribute to internal project management systems by maintaining accurate records, budgets, and progress reports.
• Actively pursue opportunities for professional growth and leadership development.

What we're looking for:

• BS in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field. EIT required, PE preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite, Civil 3D, and HydroCAD preferred. Experience with HEC/RAZ is beneficial.
• Excellent technical communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices.
