We're hiring a Construction Technician in Somerset, PA to play a key role in providing concrete and soil testing, involving field labor, and operating testing equipment to service our clients' industrial and commercial construction projects. This position is a driving force behind our team's success. If you have prior experience in Construction/Landscaping, as a Maintenance Technician, or General Laborer, or if you just enjoy working outdoors, we want to hear from you!

Your Responsibilities as a Construction Technician:

• Perform field labor with the ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Operate hand-held testing equipment.
• Understand construction techniques.
• Learn regulations and compliance techniques.
• Document field observations.
• Observe safe work practices.
• Actively develop your own career path.

What we're looking for:

• GED or High School Diploma.
• Experience with (or interest to learn) the methodology of heavy construction.
• ACI Field Grade 1 Certification preferred, not required as we will train.
• Nuclear Gauge Operator License preferred, not required as we will train.
• Able to perform manual labor.
• Knowledge of sediment and erosion control.
• Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and a reliable method of transportation.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screenings.
• Thorough understanding of safe work practices in accordance with OSHA regulations.
