We are currently seeking highly motivated Design Detailers to join our team. Design Detailers translate 3D model content into accurate, detailed drawings for fabrication and field installation, ensuring the information is complete, compliant, and ready for execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop 2D shop drawings and detailing packages from 3D model content for fabrication and installation
• Ensure drawings include all required information (dimensions, materials, assemblies, installation details, etc.)
• Follow company detailing standards and procedures
• Collaborate with designers, modelers, and VC teams to resolve any missing data or model discrepancies
• Identify detailing or constructability issues and escalate as needed for correction
• Maintain document quality, accuracy, and organization
• Understand project specifications and installation requirements
• Coordinate with shop and field teams to ensure drawings meet practical installation needs

Qualifications

• Experience or technical education in BIM, CAD, drafting, engineering, or construction
• Strong spatial understanding and ability to interpret 2D documents into accurate 3D geometry
• Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Organized, systematic, and able to perform detailed technical tasks
• Willingness to follow direction, learn new processes, and grow within the team
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or construction systems is highly preferred
• Experience with BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD, or similar) is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team environment

• The inherent responsibilities of your role may include physical working conditions. In order to safely and successfully perform job duties you must be able to:

• Potentially lift up to 50 pounds
• Potentially need to do repeated pushing, pulling, carrying, reaching (or working above shoulder), walking, standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, and climbing
• Potentially operate a motor vehicle, crane, tractor, etc.
