A Career with Point72’s AI/ML – Investment Services Team

The AI/ML – Investment Services team at Point72 spearheads the development of cutting-edge AI solutions that seek to transform our business processes and enhance enterprise intelligence. The team aims to bridge the gap between business challenges and technological innovation, collaborating with stakeholders across the firm and leveraging expertise in generative AI, data engineering, and machine learning.

What you’ll do

• Establish and maintain the Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) automation.
• Work cross-functionally to deliver scalable automation solutions to enable rapid development, configuration management of source code, and support test, deployment, and production sustaining activities.
• Work closely with the AI/ML team to understand the solution architecture and build requirements to properly build CI/CD pipelines templates.
• Establish best practices for code deployment to on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, while also establishing a process for integrating unit testing as part of the automated build pipeline.
• Ensure our AI/ML product systems are stable, reliable, and provide an efficient, user-friendly experience for our customers.

What’s required

• Experience programming in Python, Java, C#, C, C++, or Golang
• Proficient experience with Cloud technologies AWS
• Experience using build tools such as Make, Maven, and/or Gradle
• Experience delivering code efficiently while working with a development team
• Strong knowledge of software configuration management systems and version control software, such as Git
• Expert knowledge of Jenkins, including experience using pipeline as code, or other CI/CD engines, such as TeamCity, Gitlab, Github Actions
• Ability to read and explain build outputs to internal clients
• Experience automating releases via Terraform, Ansible, and/or shell scripts
• Hands-on experience with container technology such as Docker, OpenShift, and/or Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of test processes and test strategies including test automation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
