APEX is hiring an Engineer 2 to be based in Pleasant Hill or Truckee, CA.

Our Pleasant Hill Practice is home to a multidisciplinary team of project managers, scientists, geologists, and engineers who collaborate on a wide variety of project types and environmental contaminants. We foster professional growth by offering opportunities to mentor others and learn from some of the industry’s brightest professionals. Your Responsibilities as an Engineer 2:

• Conduct field sampling of soil, water, air, and building materials
• Assist with project engineering design.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret data.
• Write high-quality technical reports and proposals
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Actively develop your own career growth

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• HAZWOPER certification.
• 4+ years of related experience with field data collection and technical writing.
• Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, and the add-on program Civil 3D
• Excellent technical communication skills; strong attention to detail; field adeptness
• Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices
• Experience with waterways and dredging is a plus

Annual Expected Pay Range

$80,000—$90,000 USD
