The Development team is responsible for executing environmental testing across all of Anduril's platforms.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for an Environmental Test Technician to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the inner workings of the Dev Test Lab and Workspaces! This will require the ability to lead a team of technicians, and manage large amounts of capital equipment. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Execute a variety of environmental tests including, but not limited to, thermal, dynamic, corrosion, and ingress tests.
• Program test controllers such as WATLOW F4s.
• Execute dynamic tests using electrodynamic shaker table control software.
• Set up data acquisition systems for environmental tests.
• Maintain lab spaces to a high level of organization and professionalism.
• Promote lab safety training and processes, fostering an environment and culture to promote safety as the number one priority
• Promote proper maintenance of capital equipment including environmental chambers, electrodynamic shakers, and data acquisition equipment.
• Advance environmental testing training materials and keep technical documentation updated.
• Travel to test sites and remote labs as needed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of professional experience in a engineering technician capacity or similar
• Familiarity with Jira or other agile development software
• Experience with running environmental test equipment
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding, flexible team environment
• Eligible to obtain / maintain a U.S. Security Clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with NI Data acquisition system setup and collection, as well as running LabVIEW and Flexlogger software.
• Familiarity with VR software including VibrationVIEW and ObserVIEW for executing and processing dynamic tests.
• Demonstrated sense of drive and ability to work in cross-functional teams effectively

US Hourly Range

$46—$60 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
