We are looking for a Group Financial Controller

We are looking for a Group Financial Controller to take ownership of accounting, financial reporting and tax across an international, multi-entity group operating across several business lines, including fintech and crypto-related activities.

The role reports directly to the CFO and combines hands-on financial control with responsibility for group-level processes, reporting and financial flows.

*▪️*Responsibilities

*▫️*Own accounting and financial reporting across the group’s legal entities

*▫️*Manage month-end and year-end closing, reconciliations and financial statement preparation

*▫️*Consolidate financial information across entities and jurisdictions

*▫️*Ensure consistent accounting treatment across the group

*▫️*Ensure accounting data provides a reliable basis for management reporting and financial analysis

*▫️*Coordinate tax compliance across jurisdictions with local accountants and external advisers

*▫️*Support transfer pricing, intercompany transactions and related documentation

*▫️*Oversee bank, payment provider, exchange and crypto-related reconciliations

*▫️Work with large volumes of transactional data* and complex financial flows

*▫️*Analyze discrepancies, identify issues and drive their resolution

*▫️*Investigate non-standard transactions and new financial flows and determine appropriate accounting treatment

*▫️*Coordinate with auditors, tax advisers, banks and other external parties

*▫️*Participate in audits and regulatory reporting

*▫️*Improve financial systems, controls and accounting processes

*▫️*Build accounting processes for new entities, products and transaction types

*▪️*Requirements

*▫️*5+ years of relevant experience in accounting / financial control

*▫️*Strong practical accounting and financial reporting background

*▫️*Experience with multi-entity accounting, consolidation and intercompany transactions

*▫️*Experience working across multiple jurisdictions

*▫️*UAE experience is a strong advantage

*▫️*Good practical understanding of IFRS

*▫️*Experience with Corporate Tax, VAT / indirect taxes and local tax advisers

*▫️*Strong reconciliation and financial analysis skills

*▫️*Experience working with high-volume transactional data and complex datasets

*▫️*Experience working with auditors, banks and external advisers

*▫️*Experience with transfer pricing and international groups is a strong advantage

*▫️*Experience in fintech, payments, banking, EMI / PSP or crypto is a plus, but not required

*▫️*Strong Excel and financial systems skills

*▫️*English — strong working proficiency
