Junior Commercial Analyst

What You'll Do:

As our Junior Commercial Analyst, you'll be the go-to expert for all things financial analysis related to our client accounts. Your day-to-day will involve:

• Building the Future: Developing and maintaining sophisticated financial models to forecast revenue, plan capacity, and manage resources for our diverse client portfolio.
• Unveiling Insights: Preparing compelling monthly, quarterly, and annual reports that reveal key commercial metrics and client performance.
• Driving Profitability: Diving deep into client profitability, identifying opportunities for improvement and strategic growth.
• Budgeting for Success: Supporting the creation of client budgets and meticulously monitoring performance against them.
• Spotting Opportunities: Analysing client contracts to identify financial risks and unlock new opportunities.
• Strategic Partnering: Collaborating with our commercial and account management teams, providing vital data for pricing negotiations and contract renewals.
• Shaping Processes: Contributing to the evolution of our commercial processes, making them more efficient and effective.
• Ad-Hoc Heroics: Tackling diverse analytical challenges as they arise, always ready to provide rapid, insightful data.
• Ensuring Accuracy: Working hand-in-hand with colleagues to uphold the highest standards of data accuracy and consistency.
• Staying Ahead: Keeping your finger on the pulse of industry trends and best practices in commercial analysis.

Who You Are:

You're a sharp, detail-oriented individual with a foundational understanding of finance and a keen eye for business. You're ready to make an impact and grow your career within a global leader.

• Educated: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
• Analytical Powerhouse: You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of dissecting complex data.
• Excel Wizard: You're an advanced Microsoft Excel user (think pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas are second nature).
• Data Savvy: You're comfortable working with large datasets and ideally have experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Communicator: You articulate complex financial information clearly and confidently, building strong relationships across teams.
• Team Player & Self-Starter: You can thrive independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Organized & Meticulous: Your attention to detail is impeccable, and you can juggle multiple projects without missing a beat.
• Financial Foundation: You have a solid grasp of basic accounting and financial principles.
