Materials & Process Engineer (New Grads: Fall 2025/Spring 2026)
I am writing to express my strong interest in the Materials & Process Engineer position at Divergent. As a student completing my degree in Materials Science, I have followed Divergent’s pioneering work with the Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS) with great admiration. Your commitment to revolutionizing vehicle structures through additive manufacturing aligns perfectly with my academic focus and my passion for sustainable, high-performance engineering.
During my studies and internships, I have gained hands-on experience with material characterization and mechanical testing, including tensile and fatigue analysis. I am particularly drawn to this role because it offers the opportunity to apply first-principles materials engineering to qualify new manufacturing processes. I am eager to contribute to your mission-critical projects in the Aerospace and Defense sectors and help generate the material allowables that will define the next generation of integrated structures.
