In the Product team, we’re responsible for creating solutions that deliver real value to our customers and the business. We combine strategic vision, user focus, and cross-team collaboration to build innovative, scalable products aligned with EBANX’s goals.

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional experiences to our merchant partners? Do you have solid experience in product design and the ability to apply user-centered design methodologies? If so, this Mid-Level Product Designer role is the perfect fit for you!

In this position, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end design process, from research to final delivery, ensuring that our Merchant Experience products meet the needs of global partners. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, propose creative and effective solutions, and contribute to the continuous evolution of our product experience while strengthening the strategic vision of design within the company.

Your day-to-day impact:

• Conduct user research including interviews, usability tests, surveys, and workshops and synthesize findings into actionable insights that guide product decisions and ensure user‑centered solutions collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers;
• Design simple, user flows and interfaces, creating quick sketches and low‑fidelity explorations to support fast ideation. Develop journey maps, service blueprints, and detailed user flows that translate product structures into clear visual artifacts to help teams understand complexity and align around customer needs;
• Develop intuitive interfaces for mobile and desktop using Figma, creating responsive layouts, interaction patterns, and visual specs that support engineering implementation. Build and maintain Design System components, ensuring consistency, scalability, and adherence to accessibility and brand guidelines across products;

Must-haves to shine in this role:

• Solid experience in Product Design, with strong skills designing for desktop and mobile web environments;
• Experience working on end‑to‑end digital product cycles, contributing from discovery to delivery with a user‑centered approach;
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross‑functional teams, applying creative problem‑solving to define and refine solutions;
• Great communication skills in English and Portuguese, design decisions clearly to diverse audiences, and strong cultural fit demonstrated through collaboration, openness to feedback, and alignment with team values;
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment, adapting to shifting priorities while maintaining quality and ownership;
• Knowledge of Design Systems, customer interviews, and usability testing, applying these practices to inform and enhance design outcomes;

Bonus points if you have:

• Previous experience with payments or e-commerce;
• Experience working/specialization in Service Design;
• Previous working experience in a startup environment;
• Great communication skills in Spanish;
• Experience building to Design Systems using Shadcn UI, React, and Tailwind;
