About the Team & Role : The Product Management team at Rubrik drives forward our vision of delivering a market-leading platform that addresses the world’s most challenging data security needs. We are looking for a strategically-minded, data-literate PM intern to join the Core Platform (DLC) team. DLC team owns Rubrik Backup SLA which is the heart of our backup business. Currently, our "Unified SLA" model is a disruptor, but as we expand across Cloud, SaaS, and On-Prem, this monolith creates a "Complexity Tax." As an intern, you will get to simplify SLA making it more modular - moving from a one-size-fits-all model to a composable framework that accelerates engineering velocity and simplifies the customer journey.

What You’ll Do

• Strategic Telemetry Synthesis: Working with established data sources, you will analyze customer usage patterns to identify logical "Workload Clusters." Your goal is to determine how the engine should be partitioned to best serve diverse customer needs.
• Redefining the User Journey: Move beyond the data to evaluate the "Cognitive Load" of the current UI. You will define how a modular approach (Cloud vs. SaaS vs. CDM) simplifies workflows and allows for a "Progressive Disclosure" experience.
• Accelerating Engineering Velocity: Partner with engineering leads to quantify the "Agility Gap." You will define the requirements for a standardized, plug-and-play interface that allows Rubrik to onboard new applications and services faster than the competition.
• Product Strategy & PRD: Develop a comprehensive strategy via a PRD for the "Next Gen" policy model, balancing modularity with our "Single Pane of Glass" promise.
• Executive Influence: This project culminates in a Strategy Recommendation to Senior Leadership. You will articulate the trade-offs between unified and modular models, backed by data and customer insights.

Experience You’ll Need

• Current MBA Candidate: Enrolled in a premier management institute (IIM, ISB, or equivalent).
• Technical Foundation: BS in Computer Science or Engineering. You have the "Systems Thinking" required to deconstruct a monolithic architecture into logical components.
• Analytical Maturity: Comfortable using data (SQL/Telemetry) to find the "signal in the noise," but with the "Product Sense" to know when to trust intuition over a spreadsheet.
• Communication & Presence: Ability to synthesize complex technical trade-offs into a compelling narrative for senior engineering and product stakeholders.

Eligibility

1. 2026/2027 graduates from premier institute only (IIM's, ISB or equivalent)
2. CGPA of 8 and above only
3. Prior experience of 2-4 years
