Internship Details:

This9-week hybrid internship in Austin, TX is designed to provide real-world experience, hands-on learning, and meaningful mentorship. At SpyCloud, we believe in learning by doing, which is why our interns work on real, high-impact projects that contribute to our mission.

• Required Hybrid Schedule: In-Office Wednesdays at our South Congress office (additional in-office days may be requested by your team)
• Dates: June 3 - August 7

Overview of Job/Team:

We are seeking a Product Manager Intern focused on AI Ops, agent building, and research/validation for our Workforce and Endpoint product areas. This internship is for someone who can contribute quickly in a high-impact capacity. In this role, you will help build and improve AI agents that support product discovery, research, validation, and KPI tracking, while creating reusable value for the broader product organization.

What You'll Do:

• Build, test, and refine AI agents that support product research, validation, and discovery workflows.
• Conduct competitive research, targeted market analysis, and structured validation work.
• Support early discovery efforts by helping frame requirements and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations.
• Partner with Product Managers to define and track key product KPIs, including activation, retention, conversion, and adoption.
• Perform research on market demand, competition, and industry trends.
• Document repeatable workflows and outputs so teams can scale the value of the work across product management.

Requirements:

• Educational Background:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Product Management, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

• Professional Experience:

• Prior internship, academic, project, or professional experience in product, engineering, AI, analytics, or a related field.
• Experience working independently on scoped, high-impact projects.
• Exposure to product discovery, validation, research, or requirements work is preferred.

• Technical Proficiency:

• Experience with AI tools, LLM workflows, prompt design, agent building, or related technical experimentation.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets, dashboards, or reporting tools.
• Exposure to SQL, Python, APIs, scripting, or data analysis tools is preferred.
• Engineering or technical implementation experience is strongly preferred.
• Claude code familiarity is a STRONG preference.

• Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into structured outputs with minimal direction.
• Strong written communication and synthesis skills.
• Comfortable balancing technical experimentation with practical product needs.
• Organized, proactive, and able to contribute with low overhead.

• Work Environment:

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable operating in a focused, specialized internship role.
• Able to work in a hybrid or remote-friendly setting, depending on team needs.

Nice to Have:

• Experience building or tuning AI agents for research, workflow automation, or decision support.
• Software engineering background.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, B2B SaaS, Workforce, or Endpoint products.
• Experience with KPI tracking, dashboards, or product analytics.
