The Security Operations Team consists of Security infrastructure, guard force operations, and crisis management. ABOUT THE JOB

As Anduril continues to grow and tackle complex government and defense missions, we are seeking a dedicated Regional Physical Security Manager. This role will be instrumental in overseeing and enhancing our physical security posture across a designated Area of Responsibility (AOR). You will be responsible for the day-to-day physical security management of our sites within the AOR, ensuring the effective oversight of our contracted guard forces, conducting comprehensive physical security assessments, and providing critical crisis management support for our facilities. This role is ideal for a seasoned and proactive security professional ready to lead and develop robust physical security programs that protect Anduril's vital interests.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Oversight of Guard Force Operations: Manage and direct the performance of contracted security guard forces within your AOR, ensuring adherence to global Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Day-to-Day Site Security Management: Act as the primary physical security manager for all sites within your designated Area of Responsibility (AOR), implementing and enforcing security policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment.

Crisis Management Support: Provide essential crisis management support for sites within your AOR, collaborating with the broader Security Operations team to ensure effective response to incidents.

Physical Security Assessments: Conduct regular and thorough physical security assessments of all facilities within your AOR to identify vulnerabilities, evaluate existing security measures, and recommend improvements.

Budget Management: Manage regional security budgets effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and accurate financial reporting.

Performance Management: Oversee the performance of contracted guard forces, conducting regular reviews, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations and Anduril's security standards.

Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified physical security risks, including access control, perimeter security, surveillance, and asset protection.

Incident Response: Lead and/or support the response to physical security incidents, ensuring prompt and effective resolution and conducting post-incident analysis.

Collaboration: Work closely with local site leadership, Facilities, EHS, Legal, HR, and other relevant departments to ensure integrated and cohesive security strategies.

Training and Development: Ensure security personnel, including contracted guards, receive appropriate training and are equipped to perform their duties effectively.

Travel: This position will require 30%-50% travel

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in physical security management, guard force oversight, and/or site security operations.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting physical security assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.
• Proven ability to manage regional security budgets and oversee the performance of contracted security services, including experience with SLAs and KPIs.
• Solid understanding of security principles, best practices, and relevant technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate security procedures and findings to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
• Ability to obtain and maintain relevant security clearances.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in crisis management planning and execution.
• Experience implementing security plans for VIP events.
• Familiarity with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) requirements.
• Experience in creating and implementing Technology Control Plans (TCPs)..
• Familiarity with security management software and access control systems
• Relevant security certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or equivalent.
• Experience working in government contracting or defense industry environments.

US Salary Range

$129,000—$171,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
