Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - School Based - Long Island

Details about this opportunity:

• Location: Throughout Nassau and Suffolk County, NY
• Hours: Hours vary based on school district
• Schedule: Follows the school district calendar, including holidays and breaks.
• Compensation: $23-$26/hourly

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with a Behavior Consultant clinical supervisor to collect data.
• Respond to the goals, needs and requests of clients, their families and supervisors, on an individualized basis and in a professional manner.
• Goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work.
• Maintain the confidentiality of information regarding clients and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations.

About You:

• Exposure to the practice of maintaining a high level of confidentiality

And this background:

• Minimum of 6 months ABA working with children or adolescents with Autism in a supervised setting.
• Successful completion of or current enrollment in an undergraduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education or related field.
• Critical thinker with a problem-solving mind.
• Must be RBT Certified
• Bilingual is a plus.
