The SAP BASIS Administrator / AWS Engineer provides foundational technical support for the S/4HANA landscape and its AWS cloud infrastructure. This role focuses on routine system monitoring, basic administration tasks, and incident response to ensure environment stability. Working within a technical squad, the role assists in maintaining system health, executing standard transports, and supporting the senior team in system copies and patching activities within a federal cloud environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Facilitate workshops to define requirements for sales contracts, order processing, and complex federal pricing models (e.g., GSA schedules)
• Perform hands-on configuration of Sales and Distribution (SD), including Sales Document Types, Item Categories, Schedule Line Categories, and Copy Control
• Configure the Condition Technique (Pricing Procedures, Condition Types, and Access Sequences) to handle diverse tax, discount, and surcharge requirements
• Configure Logistics Execution (LE) for outbound delivery processing, picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring integration with Advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP) for accurate delivery dates
• Ensure all billing activities correctly interface with the Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) for IFRS 15/ASC 606 compliance
• Coordinate with the B2R team to ensure that revenue-generating activities and accounts receivable correctly update Funds Management (FM) for realized revenue tracking
• Partner with developers to design custom output forms (Invoices, Packing Slips), EDI interfaces for automated ordering, and custom enhancements for federal reporting (e.g., DATA Act)
• Lead the migration of customer master data (using the Business Partner concept), open sales orders, and historical billing documents
• Write and execute comprehensive test plans for the "Order-to-Cash" cycle, including credit management checks, intercompany billing, and month-end AR reconciliation
• Deploy SAP Fiori apps like "Sales Order Fulfillment Monitor" and "Track Sales Orders" to provide sales teams with real-time bottleneck visibility

Here’s what you need:

• 1+ year of experience in SAP BASIS administration or General IT Systems Administration (Linux/Windows)
• Understanding of cloud concepts (IaaS) and exposure to the AWS Management Console
• Familiarity with SAP architecture (NetWeaver)
• Functional knowledge of Linux command-line basics

Nice to have:

• HANA database management and S/4HANA operations
• Understanding of the importance of data privacy and "Least Privilege" access in a federal environment
• Bachelor's degree in a related field

Eligibility requirements:

• US Citizen (no dual citizenship)
• Must be eligible to obtain a government Secret Clearance
• Willingness to travel up to 25%

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. $70,500—$136,700 USD
