Who we are looking for

We are seeking a Senior Appian Associate for a remote full-time position supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)

We are an organization committed to your growth and success in the IT software development industry. We are looking for a Senior Appian Associate who is ready to assume leadership responsibilities in a supportive team environment that is focused on your success as a function of client success.

What your day-to-day will look like / Duties:

• Working with senior leaders to scope and design Appian solutions that meet our client’s expectations and business needs.
• Lead scrum teams to deliver on-time solutions following an agile methodology and develop software solutions as a member of a software delivery team.
• Opportunity to mentor and develop Junior Appian Developers and maintain technical knowledge.

What we would like to see on your resume/ Required Skills

• 2+ years leading software development teams implementing Appian
• Have the ability and previous experience in database and system integration.
• 4-6years working on software development engagements (Appian preferred).
• Have experience in an Agile environment.
• DATABASE KNOWLEDGE: higher level ability to analyze tables and views; advanced database knowledge – stored procedures, triggers, functions, & explain plan.

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as software engineering, engineering, computer science, etc.

What will make you stand out as a candidate

• Good communication
• Certification: Appian Level 2 certification -Scrum Training & SQL, Performance Tools, Automation Testing.
• Associates possess a higher level of experience in requirement discovery, data modeling, and the design and build of BPM applications and can execute these activities independently.
• Knowing how to architect on a small-scale project, All tools in previous level +, Plugins, External Systems/ APIs
• Mentorship skills
• Deliver insightful code reviews, propose alternative solutions for better efficiency, technical scalability, and functional scalability, assess how the created/updated Appian objects and pull requests fits into the bigger picture, spot major logic errors, and suggest opportunities for refactoring.
• Give constructive reviews and help implement a better alternative, and actively influence our coding guidelines based on your experience.
