About the role: What's in the Box

The service provider will contribute to the Data Management and Governance team within the Data Alliance. This project-based collaboration focuses on ensuring the organization’s data remains well-organized, secure, and compliant with global regulatory standards. You will provide expertise in designing and implementing data privacy tools, encryption services, and CSRD initiatives, specifically focusing on automated customer data deletion and maintaining high-quality data lineage.

What you’ll do: The Recipe

• Service Delivery & Architecture: Take responsibility for the architecture, design, and deployment of microservices using DevOps practices and pair programming.
• Privacy Tooling Implementation: Develop and maintain specialized tools for data encryption and the secure deletion of customer data in accordance with privacy regulations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a solution-oriented expert within an agile environment, collaborating with product owners, architects, and business intelligence teams to align data processes with organizational requirements.
• Systems Operations: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of products, ensuring scalability and maintainability through modern technologies like Kubernetes and Istio.
• Technical Excellence: Advocate for and implement best engineering practices, including CI/CD, TDD, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Knowledge Sharing: Provide technical guidance and support to other engineers, conducting knowledge-sharing sessions to elevate the collective technical standards of the alliance.

What you’ll bring: The Ingredients

• Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience with Kotlin, other JVM languages, or Golang, backed by a strong command of data structures and algorithms.
• Solid hands-on experience working with AI coding agents: (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) beyond casual experimentation. You use AI agents as thought partners to onboard on unfamiliar codebases and navigate new areas of the code with confidence. You have a practical sense of how the context you provide to AI tools - specifications, constraints, examples - shapes output quality, and a developing awareness of how agentic outputs can fail, with growing habits around verifying, testing, and setting boundaries on AI-generated work.
• Full-Stack Capabilities: Solid experience with frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and component-based architectures using React/Redux or NextJS.
• Integration Expertise: Proven track record of binding complex frontend and backend services together into seamless user experiences.
• Infrastructure & DevOps: Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and deploying code within fast-paced, automated CI/CD environments.
• Data Systems: Deep understanding of both relational and document databases, alongside event-driven architectures using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Collaborative Mindset: Ability to provide technical mentorship and share practical trends with cross-functional partners.
