About the Team

At Fireblocks, our team owns the assets domain, which stands as one of the fundamental pillars of our platform. Assets are integral to nearly every operation and product within our platform. Our mission is to elevate asset management by refining our systems to ensure assets are modeled, represented, presented, and interacted with in the most optimal manner possible.

This involves orchestrating integrations with third-party data sources, accommodating various standards across different blockchains, and empowering both our internal organization and our customers to seamlessly view, manage, and interact with assets across all our platform products.

As a senior Frontend Engineer in the Assets team, you’ll design and develop robust React front end applications and backend systems to support a diverse range of customers, including the largest financial enterprises, retail investors, crypto-native organizations, and fintech companies. Your focus will be on building scalable products for managing assets on the platform, encompassing data modeling, processing, and analysis, while ensuring seamless integration and delivering exceptional user experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement scalable, robust UIs and frontend components. Develop practical, maintainable, and highly performant code from product requirements using modern frameworks (e.g., React) and sophisticated design patterns. Establish and maintain a comprehensive, performant component library to handle growing complexity and high data throughput.
• Contribute to the full stack, focusing on high-quality, responsive frontend experiences. Prioritize an exceptional, accessible user journey. Collaborate with backend teams on defining and consuming efficient APIs (REST/GraphQL), ensuring seamless and secure frontend-backend integration across various devices (desktop, mobile, tablet).
• Continuously improve user experience and optimize performance. Proactively monitor key application performance metrics. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks (e.g., load times, bundle size) using modern optimization techniques.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Translate design mockups (e.g., Figma) and product specifications into actionable technical plans. Provide pragmatic feedback and collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering within an agile framework to ensure a cohesive final product that meets all business and technical standards.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience as a Frontend Engineer.
• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or equivalent degree/experience
• Experience with backend for frontend services.
• Experience with micro frontend architecture.
• Experience with non trivial frontend applications and state management.
• Understanding of common web and SaaS software architectures.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in React and its ecosystem.
• Excellent product sense.
• Experience with blockchain or cryptocurrency- an advantage.
• Experience developing SaaS products through the full product life cycle.
• Experience in researching and integrating new technologies.
• Proven ability to research, evaluate, and integrate new technologies.
• A security-oriented approach and mindset.
