"*❗️**❗️*The client is looking for an employee who is willing to work in a hybrid format from their office in Baku: 3 days in the office / 2 days remote.

Project Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-load microservices in Java 8/11/17 using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, and Spring Batch.

Design system architecture in accordance with DDD and microservice principles; work with databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, ClickHouse, and Oracle.

Optimize SQL queries and data models to ensure performance and data integrity.

Implement containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and support CI/CD pipelines in private cloud environments (AWS / Google Cloud).

Conduct code, requirements, and change reviews initiated by the business; participate in the evaluation and analysis of technical solutions.

Ensure code coverage through automated testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end tests) and comply with information security standards.

Maintain system availability in line with SRE practices and contribute to the development of internal engineering standards.

Candidate's Portrait

Strong backend engineering knowledge is required, including algorithms, data structures, and system design.

Java versions: Java 8, 11, and 17.

Frameworks: Spring (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Spring Batch).

Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, ClickHouse, Oracle.

Experience working with private cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud).

Proven knowledge and hands-on experience with microservices architecture.

Proven infrastructure expertise (Docker, Cloud platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD, etc.).

Ability to solve infrastructure-related challenges.

Understanding of SRE principles and maintaining system availability.

Ability to perform thorough reviews of change requests, including:

requirements reviews,

code reviews,

assessment of business-driven changes to technical specifications.

Experience analyzing changes and providing effort estimates.

Active participation in architecture and solution defense discussions.

Knowledge of various data technologies and platforms (PostgreSQL, Oracle, Kafka, etc.).

Strong SQL knowledge with proven practical experience.

Extensive knowledge of algorithms and data structures.

Knowledge of design patterns.

Proven experience with automated testing at all levels (unit, integration, end-to-end).

Proven knowledge of security best practices, tools, information security, and cybersecurity.

Experience designing systems in accordance with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
