POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking experienced, passionate, and resourceful Senior Android Engineers to join our Offers team. Offers is a really fast-growing business area for the company, where you have an opportunity to have a significant impact and help shape our systems to 10x this space. We are seeking product-minded engineers who thrive in ambiguous environments—excited about collaborating with Product and design teams to take initiatives from idea to implementation. We are looking for someone who is not just an expert in Android but also curious to understand iOS and/or backend and can lead projects with a full-stack mindset while partnering effectively with other engineers on the team in these areas.

This position will ideally be hybrid from our Mexico City office as part of our expanding site, though a remote arrangement may be possible. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead end-to-end delivery of features across Android, collaborating closely with iOS and backend engineers on the team
• Partner with Product and Design to solidify requirements, navigate ambiguity, and make informed tradeoffs
• Design and build scalable, maintainable mobile architectures
• Develop high-quality features that improve user experience and engagement
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define and evolve APIs
• Uphold and advance engineering best practices (code quality, testing, observability, reliability)
• Drive projects proactively, providing technical leadership and direction
• Mentor engineers and contribute to raising the overall engineering bar of the team
• Use data and analytics to evaluate feature performance and guide iteration

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent practical experience)
• 4+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on Android development
• Strong proficiency inKotlin, including experience with modern paradigms (e.g., reactive or functional programming)
• Deep understanding of Android architectures (e.g., MVVM, MVI, MVP) and mobile system design
• Proven experience leading projects and mentoring engineers
• Strong system design skills, with a focus on scalability, flexibility, and reuse
• Solid grasp of the full software development lifecycle (testing, CI/CD, code reviews, etc.)
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product and Design
• Familiarity with iOS development and cross-platform frameworks such as React Native or Kotlin Multi-Platform is a significant plus.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, LLMs) is a plus.
