About the role: What's in the Box

The Growth Alliance drives customer acquisition, conversion optimization, and retention strategies across all HelloFresh and Ready-to-Eat (RTE) brands globally. The alliance is responsible for cross-cutting initiatives that maximize business value through modernized payment processing, dynamic customer activations and reactivations, and organic growth channels like SEO. By leveraging rigorous experimentation, data-driven insights, and continuous backend modernization, we ensure a frictionless, highly optimized funnel that improves conversion rates and sustains long-term growth across all regions.

We are looking for a Senior React Native Engineer to work on the Pricing team and help implement solutions & write beautiful code, working with various team members while building out consumer-facing applications & the infrastructure that supports them. This engagement involves working with highly-skilled engineers, who, in collaboration with other global teams, have turned HelloFresh into the #1 meal delivery service in the world!

At HelloTech, flexibility and cross-functional collaboration are core to how we work. While this role is aligned to a specific Alliance, strong candidates may also be considered for opportunities across different teams or projects.

What you’ll do: The Recipe

• Work on a cross-functional team with a product owner, engineers, designers, and analysts
• Help to enable the product team to iterate fast and learn about users by planning, building, testing, and launching features
• Collaborate with engineers across the department and the company to continuously improve the code base, systems, and processes
• Design and develop solutions that can continue to scale
• Support other team members through workshops, pair programming, and code reviews

What you’ll bring: The Ingredients

• At least 2-3 years of hands-on work with React Native
• A minimum of 5 years of experience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Proficiency in building component-based architectures using React.js and Node.js
• Deep understanding of integrating frontend and backend services seamlessly
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, along with solid testing practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Strong collaboration skills when partnering with product designers
