Senior Revenue Accountant- PH

To complement our rapid growth, we are seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant, based in our Philippines office.  This position can be fully remote.  The person in this role should be a strong communicator who is able to work effectively with peers and management alike in a high-paced environment. The ideal candidate is someone who has accounting, strong technical accounting experience and can respond quickly, energetically, and enthusiastically.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in month end and quarter end close activities, including reconciliation, flux analysis and journal entries for revenue, deferred revenue and accounts receivable related accounts.
• Assist in preparation of SEC disclosures such as remaining performance obligations.
• Support financial and Sarbanes-Oxley audits including support documentation, and communication with external auditors.
• Assist in system implementation projects, such as NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) and perform UAT.
• Assist on customer contract review and assessment.
• Ensure revenue recognition is in accordance with company policy and SaaS revenue recognition accounting standards.
• Support and participate in revenue accounting as well as order to cash cycle related projects.

Qualifications:

• This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Finance or related field, minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance.
• CPA is required, Big 4/Public Accounting experience.
• Revenue Recognition experience including adoption of ASC 606
• Experience of working with Salesforce, and NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM).
• Must have strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Software/SaaS industry experience is preferred.
• Must have solid verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Amenable to work US time or night shift schedule.
