At ZoomInfo, we believe one great choice can change everything. As a Senior Software Engineer on our Infrastructure Engineering Automation team, you won't just manage servers—you will build the "brain" behind our infrastructure.

Our mission is to drive infrastructure efficiency through Intelligence and Automation. You will lead the development of robust tooling and AI-powered solutions underpinned by a centralized source of truth for all infrastructure data. We are looking for a knowledgeable and motivated software engineer who bridges the gap between traditional backend development, sophisticated DevOps patterns, and the emerging world of Agentic AI for infrastructure.

You will focus on two core pillars:

Orchestration & Patterns: Building the platform that allows teams to productionize their own automations using durable execution frameworks and standardized IaC patterns.

Infrastructure Intelligence: Creating, sourcing, and enriching critical infrastructure and organizational data and making accessible and actionable for both humans and AI agents.

What You'll do:

• Design & Develop: Build high-performance internal tools and APIs using Go (Golang) to manage infrastructure metadata and lifecycle.
• Automation Architecture: Design complex, long-running workflows using durable execution frameworks (like Temporal) to orchestrate tasks across Git, Cloud providers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• AI Integration: Develop and implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and Agentic AI workflows to automate the creation, upgrading, and auditing of infrastructure configurations.
• Standardize IaC: Define "Golden Paths" for Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), ensuring consistency and reusability across the enterprise.
• Collaborate: Partner with Infrastructure, Security, and Development teams to design "Infrastructure Intelligence" tools that provide deep insights into asset ownership and EOL lifecycles.

What you bring:

• Programming: Advanced proficiency in Go (Golang) is required. You should have a demonstrable understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Durable Execution: Experience with Temporal (or similar workflow engines like Cadence or Airflow) for managing complex, stateful distributed systems.
• AI & Agents: Practical experience or strong theoretical knowledge of Agentic AI development, including MCP (Model Context Protocol) and A2A (Agent-to-Agent) frameworks.
• Infrastructure as Code: Strong proficiency in Terraform, specifically experience with  building modular, enterprise-grade providers and modules.
• Cloud & Containers: Experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and major cloud providers (GCP and AWS).
• CI/CD & GitOps: Hands-on experience with modern delivery tools like GitHub Actions, Helm, and ArgoCD.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering, with experience building Infrastructure/Platform tools.
