As a Senior Software Engineer on the Developer Monetization team, you will build applications and platforms that power Roblox's Creator Monetization systems. Your work will directly empower millions of creators to make a living within Roblox as they explore their creativity.

You will be working on projects to help our creators optimize their pricing strategies, expand accessibility of their product, and enable them to provide personalized offers via Roblox shops with minimal effort.

You Will:

• Lead projects with the highest economic impact and visibility.
• Develop systems that our creators use to optimize their revenue within Roblox.
• Implement personalization platforms to enable our creators optimize their economy.
• Work with product, data science, and ML engineers to help refine strategy and requirements.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience developing and supporting highly available, large-scale systems.
• 2+ years of experience leading large & complex projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field.
• Bonus: Experience working in the gaming industry, monetization or personalization platforms.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.

Annual Salary Range

$226,250—$293,800 USD

Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
