About the Opportunity

We’re seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Ecosystem  Engineering group, a team focused on building new products and capabilities that drive customer satisfaction, product-led growth, and business expansion.

As a senior engineer on the team, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and launching features that shape how customers experience the Salsify platform. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, UX, and fellow engineers to build intuitive, performant web interfaces. Beyond just writing code, you’ll influence architecture decisions, mentor peers, and help evolve our frontend best practices.

You’ll have the opportunity to own complex projects from concept to delivery, explore how different parts of our platform integrate, and make a visible impact on customer value and business results.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Drive major product initiatives from discovery to delivery, building high-quality interfaces directly impacting customer growth and satisfaction.
• Set technical direction for frontend work across projects, advocating for scalable architecture, maintainable code, and thoughtful UX patterns.
• Mentor and support other engineers, providing code reviews, design guidance, and architectural input that raises the bar across the team.
• Collaborate closely with design and product teams to translate ambitious ideas into elegant, usable, and performant interfaces.
• Influence engineering culture by contributing to shared frontend standards, internal tooling, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You Have

• 5+ years of frontend development experience in a professional software engineering environment.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Ember, Vue, etc.).
• A strong understanding of SPA architectures, component design, state management, and performance optimization.
• Experience integrating with GraphQL or REST APIs to build dynamic, data-rich interfaces.
• A sharp eye for UX and detail, with experience translating complex product requirements into intuitive interfaces.
• A collaborative mindset and a strong desire to work closely with peers across disciplines to deliver excellent user experiences.
• Familiarity with testing strategies, CI/CD, and modern frontend build systems.
• Excellent communication skills and a track record of technical leadership through mentoring, system design, or thought leadership.

Bonus Points For

• Experience with Ember or transitioning large applications across frontend frameworks.
• Experience in B2B SaaS or commerce platforms.
• Contributing to or leading design systems, internal frontend tooling, or cross-team frontend initiatives.

The posted compensation range reflects the base salary for this position. In addition to base salary, some eligible roles may also have a commission plan or a bonus incentive. All Salsify employees receive equity in the form of stock options. All full-time employees are invited to participate in our Total Rewards plan, which includes health & medical benefits, PTO, and more. Offers to join Salsify are based on a few criteria, including the scope of the role, the candidate’s work experience, targeted skills, internal equity of the team, and external market data.

National Pay Range

€70.000—€77.000 EUR
