We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team at Smartly to help build a brand-new integration to our platform. While we can’t publicly share all the details just yet, this is an exciting greenfield project that will connect us with world-leading tech partners and serve some of the largest organizations in the world.

You’ll play a key role in shaping the architecture and implementation from the ground up, so we’re looking for someone who thrives in ownership, values clean and scalable solutions, and enjoys working closely with both engineers and product stakeholders.

The main technologies in our stack are Node.js, React & TypeScript.

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will:

• Have end-to-end ownership of a new platform integration
• Design, build and monitor data-intensive microservices systems
• Collaborate closely with other engineers, product managers and designers to deliver cutting edge solutions for our clients
• Take part and facilitate team activities such as dailies, retros and brainstorming sessions
• Coach and mentor other members of the team to follow best practices and industry standards

What we are looking for:

• Experience in backend development using modern technologies such as Node.js and Typescript
• Experience in UI development (React & Typescript)
• Experience in building robust, complex and distributed web applications
• Motivation for solving customers problems and delivering value to customers at a fast pace
• Strong collaboration skills & ability to coach other engineers in the team
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity from our Helsinki office 3 days a week
