We are looking for self-motivated, quick-starter and highly proactive individuals to join our Client QA team, who would be responsible for ensuring delivery of features on PlayStation platform.

Primary Responsibilities

• Review product requirements and design documents to understand how the feature works on the PlayStation applications and create effective testing strategies.
• Plan and complete QA related activities for UI testing; build and execute test plan and test cases to ensure the quality of new features.
• Build and enhance test automation for applications, automate test cases, own their maintenance, and ensure optimized and reliable test execution, including upkeep of PS5 test devices.
• Responsible for setting up and maintaining test pipelines, managing Jenkins jobs, and reporting execution status
• Drive quality improvements by proposing best practices and ensuring their adoption within the team
• Work with Developers, Product Owners to ensure that all features and bug fixes come with automated test coverage
• Assist with production deployment support and post release activities
• Report, track and verify defects
• Use AI/ML-powered tools and code generation frameworks (e.g., Copilot, LLM-based test generators) to assist in creating, maintaining, and optimizing test cases and automation scripts, improving test coverage, reducing manual effort, and accelerating execution within CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience in building and executing test plans and test cases
• Experience writing automated tests in Python, Java Script or any other Programming Language
• Understanding of automation test framework like pytest
• Experience in setting or configuring up test pipelines as part of Continuous Integration(CI), Jenkins preferred
• Practical experience using development and deployment tools like Git, Jenkins, Appium
• Experience with test case management systems & JIRA, QTest/QMetry systems
• Ability to estimate effort and size of features
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. comfortable with cross functional collaboration

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$140,500—$210,700 USD
