As a Software Engineer 4, you will help implement complex and innovative solutions, and coach more junior engineers as we maintain and evolve our industry-leading application security platform. Job location       : Black Duck, Bangalore (Prestige Blue Chip, Near Dairy Circle, Opp to Christ University)

Work Mode        : Hybrid (3 days WFO)

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide technical leadership to the engineering team using best practices for SaaS and related technologies.

• Collaborate with cross functional members, to design and deliver innovative and complex technical solution that benefit our customers.

• Optimize system performance.

• Help define development guidelines.

• Mentor the other team members, provide coaching and technical training where needed.

• Keep abreast of industry best practices, success and failures, and help the team adopt the right practices.

Key Qualifications: 

• 8+ years of experience developing large enterprise applications using microservices architecture, and container orchestration technologies, running on Kubernetes and/or cloud technologies.

• Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional innovative projects

• Expertise in full-stack development using Golang and React required

• Expertise in some SQL variant (Postgres preferred)

• Solid experience in systems design, including experience with scalable architecture, performance optimization

• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices

• Solid problem-solving abilities

• Ability to think strategically

• Solid leadership skills

• Excellent communication skills (in-person and remote)

• Nice to have: experience developing in TypeScript, Perl, or experience with Github Actions (GHA)
