Your future role at QRT:

We are looking for an exceptional Software Engineer to be an integral member of the Data and Lifecycle team. We work closely with trading and research functions to provide trade and position lifecycle automations (corporate actions, expiries, coupon payments, etc), maintain reference data, handle internal and external reporting and generate reports for Front office use across different teams. This position has high visibility across the business and every project will directly impact trading decisions.  

Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop highly scalable and performant solutions using best practices, while partnering with various stakeholders within QRT, including Engineering/Risk/Operations and Research/Execution teams.
• Write automated tests, maintain, and scale delivery/integration pipelines.
• Make all reference data available for different asset types, ensuring good data quality.
• Taking care of all Realtime/EOD reports to internal or external parties.
• Automation of all life cycle events like corporate actions, coupon payments, etc. for all asset types
• Validate systems and procedures related to trade and position lifecycle, ensuring robust checks and alignment with brokers and fund administrators
• Taking care of compliance and regulatory reporting delivery

Your present skillset:

• Expert Python programming, design, and architecture
• Knowledge of testing as part of continuous delivery and integration pipelines.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with C# would be good to have
• Excellent communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively in a small, close-knit team.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal communication skills
