The Finance team provides a broad range of timely, accurate, relevant, and objective financial information, advice, and services to its business partners, with commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards. Operating within the Finance function, the CFO Innovation team seeks to reengineer finance-based processes with automation at the forefront, understanding that these steps are key to driving efficiency, and increasing the level of controls in our processes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You will partner closely with our Technology, AI Product, and Finance teams to design and implement automated solutions that enhance efficiency, scalability and control.  Leveraging your understanding of finance processes and systems, you will work to understanding challenges facing Finance teams and find the right solutions using a combination of internal custom builds and external vendor tools.

Specifically, you will:

• Use your technical and functional expertise to collaborate cross-functionally to improve the efficiency and controls of Finance activities such as the month-end close, cash forecasting, account reconciliation, and reporting and analysis
• Work with our developers to \creatively implement new techniques, including broadening our use of AI in our workflows
• Work with Finance teams to present functional requirements in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to help guide action plans and qualitatively and quantitatively convey the business benefit of taking on further automation
• Play a key role in managing large-scale automation projects in partnership with Investment Services teams
• Build awareness and expertise within the Finance team by sharing best practices and helping teams embrace new tools and ways of working

WHAT’S REQUIRED

• Degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting, corporate finance, financial operations, or finance transformation, with hands‑on exposure to process improvement or automation
• Intellectual curiosity and interest in learning about different aspects of finance and its intersection with the latest technology
• Experience managing small- and large-scale automation projects and mapping out process steps to identify areas for improvement
• The ability to work well independently
• Positive attitude and ability to build working relationships with colleagues throughout the firm
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills
• The ability to adapt to evolving business needs
• Commitment to highest ethical standards
