COBOL Developer – Power & Utilities
Role Summary
Seeking a COBOL Developer with utilities-domain experience to interpret and validate legacy system logic for modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze COBOL modules supporting customer service, billing, and field operations
- Validate extracted business rules and resolve logic ambiguities
- Translate technical legacy logic into clear business meaning
- Collaborate with AI ingestion, agentic development, and use‑case teams
- Deliver documented business rules and clarified workflow mappings
Required Qualifications
- Strong COBOL expertise
- Experience with electric power utilities systems
- Ability to translate technical logic into business context
- Background in customer service or billing processes (preferred)
Nice to Have
- Experience with MACSS
