Sr. Mechanical Engineer, Optical Production (Starlink)
I am writing to express my strong interest in the Senior Mechanical Engineer position for Starlink Optical Production. With over five years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing, I have developed a keen engineering intuition and the ability to thrive in high-stakes, ambiguous environments. My background in managing complex integration flows and evaluating designs for manufacturability aligns perfectly with SpaceX's mission to deliver high-quality optical assemblies for the Starlink constellation.
Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a commitment to root cause analysis and continuous process improvement. I am particularly drawn to this role because of the opportunity to interface between engineering and technician teams to optimize automation. I am eager to bring my technical expertise and passion for space exploration to the Starlink team and contribute to the goal of enabling human life on Mars.
