As a Sr. Plant Floor Systems Engineer, you will lead MES system support and project execution within your shop. You’ll also lead a team of support engineers to ensure system uptime, resolve technical issues, and drive manufacturing digitization initiatives.

You Will

• Ensure MES system uptime across all shifts and coordinate support coverage.
• Lead support engineers, assign tasks, and drive issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams for system feedback.
• Manage spare parts inventory, backups, and 6S compliance.
• Evaluate change requests and conduct user acceptance testing.
• Support MES installation, validation, and remote support automation.
• Execute MES-related pråojects and coordinate hardware setup and testing.
• Analyze machine/process data and develop optimized digital solutions.
• Maintain project tracking and collaborate with vendors and internal teams.

You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in MES systems and manufacturing support.
• 3+ years in plant operations and IT applications; 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with MES, ICS, IIoT, PLCs, SCADA, and OT protocols.
• Programming skills in SQL, Python, Java, C#, and Visual Basic.
• Familiarity with sensors, actuators, robots, AGVs, and manufacturing hardware.
• Understanding of manufacturing KPIs (OEE, uptime, throughput, etc.).
• Proficiency in documentation tools like Smartsheet, Visio, and MS Project.
