Substitute/Floater Behavior Technician - School Based - Long Island

Details about this opportunity:

• Location: Positions available in Nassau and Suffolk (school based)
• Hours: Must be available between hours of 8am and 3:45pm
• Compensation: $22-$24 based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide substitute coverage as needed on an on-call or fixed schedule
• Provide academic/ behavioral support to student during the school day
• Must have reliable transportation
• Work collaboratively with a Behavior Consultant clinical supervisor to collect data
• Respond to the goals, needs and requests of clients, their families and supervisors, on an individualized basis and in a professional manner
• Goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work
• Maintain the confidentiality of information regarding clients and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations

About You:

And this background:

• Minimum of 6 months ABA working with children or adolescents with Autism in a supervised setting
• Successful completion of or current enrollment in an undergraduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education or related field
• Critical thinker with a problem-solving mind
• Bilingual is a plus
• RBT preferred.
