In this role, you will:

• Lead complex, cross-functional logistics programs across multiple sites, mentoring project teams and guiding the transition of operations from R&D prototype builds to scalable, standard production.
• Drive change management and process standardization by defining and governing operating procedures (SOPs) that ensure safety, quality, compliance, and organizational best practices.
• Partner collaboratively with engineering, supply chain, and operations to align warehouse design, material flow, and overall logistics readiness with critical production milestones.
• Establish KPIs and drive continuous improvement by proactively mitigating risks, monitoring performance, and driving the integration of technology, automation, and lean methodologies.
• Travel: Requires regular travel between Bay Area facilities, alongside 10–20% nationwide travel to additional Zoox sites to oversee initiatives and support regional logistics operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field, with 6–8+ years of TPM, logistics, or manufacturing experience in high-scale industries (e.g., automotive, aerospace, electronics).
• Proven expertise in leading complex, cross-functional logistics programs from design through implementation, utilizing tools like SmartSheets and MS Project to manage schedules, track milestones, and mitigate risks.
• Deep knowledge of warehouse optimization, material flow, logistics engineering, and lean manufacturing principles, paired with hands-on experience using ERP and WMS platforms (e.g., SAP).
• Strong track record of driving organizational change and adopting new standards, backed by exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to align and influence teams at all levels.
• Robust analytical capabilities with practical experience in process mapping, defining KPIs, and building operational dashboards to monitor performance and solve complex operational challenges.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Logistics, in addition to professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, Lean, or Six Sigma.
• Proven success in establishing logistics operations from the ground up during major production scale-ups or new greenfield program launches.
• Strong technical ability using SQL, Python, or simulation tools to drive optimizations and support data-driven decision-making.
• Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse safety and quality standards, including EHS guidelines, OSHA regulations, ISO 9001, and IATF 16949 requirements.
