Who You Will Be Working With

At PMG, our UI/UX team is focused on creating experiences that are as thoughtful and intuitive as they are beautiful. Central to this effort is our design system, the backbone of consistent, scalable, and accessible digital experiences across our enterprise SaaS platform. We believe robust design systems are critical infrastructure that enables teams to deliver exceptional user experiences efficiently and at scale.  You will lead strategic design initiatives, strengthen our design systems practice, and help define how artificial intelligence transforms modern marketing experiences.

This is a senior level design leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of systems thinking, emerging technology, and human centered design. You will collaborate with product, engineering, data science, and AI experts to create intelligent, scalable experiences that push the boundaries of what marketing technology can be.

We are looking for a design leader with deep expertise in design systems, strong executional craft, and demonstrated fluency in AI driven workflows including Figma Make, large language models, and modern AI powered design tools.  You'll collaborate primarily with front-end engineers, product teams, and fellow designers as the technical bridge between design intent and production reality.

What You Will Do

Strategic Design Leadership

• Lead the design of complex product experiences across the full lifecycle, from discovery and research through delivery and iteration.
• Translate ambiguous ideas into structured workflows, interaction models, and detailed interface specifications.
• Guide cross-functional teams toward user-centered solutions that balance business goals, technical feasibility, and user needs.
• Clearly articulate design rationale and influence stakeholders across product, engineering, and executive leadership.

AI-Driven Experience Innovation

• Explore and apply AI/LLM capabilities to enhance product experiences within marketing technology.
• Leverage Figma Make and AI-powered design workflows to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and production.
• Design intelligent, adaptive interfaces that thoughtfully incorporate automation, predictive insights, and generative capabilities.
• Collaborate with data and AI teams to shape user-facing experiences that responsibly leverage machine learning.
• Continuously evaluate emerging AI tools and methodologies to improve both the user experience and the design practice.

User Research & Validation

• Conduct and guide research efforts including user interviews, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations.
• Translate qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable design improvements.
• Utilize analytics and experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, behavioral analysis) to optimize experience effectiveness.
• Ensure accessibility and inclusive design principles are embedded throughout the product.

Team & Practice Leadership

• Mentor and elevate junior designers through critique, collaboration, and design reviews.
• Contribute to the evolution of PMG’s UX design standards and processes.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and thoughtful risk-taking.
• Present work confidently to internal teams and senior stakeholders, championing design excellence.

What You Will Bring

• 5+ years of product design experience, with demonstrated impact leading complex, multi-surface initiatives across web and platform experiences.
• Proven ability to drive consistency and quality at scale by partnering with Design Systems and Engineering teams to evolve shared patterns, contribute reusable components, and ensure adoption across product areas.
• Experience leading cross-functional collaboration with Product and Engineering to shape end-to-end experiences, aligning interaction patterns and UI decisions to both user needs and platform standards.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including deep experience with libraries, variants, auto-layout, and prototyping.
• Solid understanding of front-end technology fundamentals (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) and experience with build tools, package management, and version control (Git).
• Ability to read and review code, contribute to technical discussions, and understand the implications of design decisions on performance and maintainability.
• Deep knowledge of accessibility standards (ADA/WCAG) and practical experience applying them to component design.
• Demonstrated systems thinking, with the ability to connect individual feature work to broader ecosystem implications, platform constraints, and long-term maintainability.
• Strong judgment in balancing craft, speed, and scalability, knowing when to leverage existing patterns versus advocating for new approaches in service of user experience and product clarity.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
