About the Role:

Sezzle is seeking a talented and motivated Multi Media Design Intern in Colombia who is best in class with a high IQ plus a high EQ. This role presents an exciting opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing team, with abundant prospects for career advancement. This role will assist the animators and graphic designers in developing engaging 2D animations, motion graphics, and edited video content for use in the Sezzle app, YouTube, and Google Paid Ads.

The intern will collaborate closely with our creative staff to execute high-quality motion content while maintaining brand consistency and storytelling standards.

What You'll Do:

Animation & Motion Graphics

• Assist in creating 2D motion graphics and animated assets
• Support storyboard creation and translate creative briefs into animated sequences
• Execute revisions based on feedback from animators and graphic designers

Video Editing

• Edit short-form and mid-length video content
• Assemble rough cuts and refine pacing, transitions, and audio
• Add graphics, captions, and visual enhancements as needed
• Prepare final exports optimized for different platforms

Script & Story Support

• Assist in drafting and refining video scripts into structured narrative outlines
• Ensure messaging aligns with brand tone and campaign goals

What We Look For:

• 1–3 years of experience in motion design or animation
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Strong understanding of motion design principles and timing
• Solid video editing fundamentals (pacing, rhythm, storytelling)
• Ability to follow creative direction and brand guidelines
• Strong written English for scripting and captioning

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

• Basic sound design and audio cleanup skills (Audition, Adobe Podcast Enhance)
• Familiarity with collaborative tools (Slack, Jira)
