The Opportunity  

Sterlington runs several core business processes in Zoho One modules. Given the growth of the business, our underlying systems require further development and maintenance. This covers existing core business processes in Zoho One modules like Projects, Desk, Creator, Writer & CRM, but extends to wider system design and architecture as we look to make our systems more robust. 

This role will work in our development team to customize & administer existing Zoho One modules. As an expert in Zoho Creator and either Python or Node, you will design and build systems, custom applications, tools, scripts & fields to make business processes more efficient. 

What You’ll Do:  

• Lead the end-to-end customization, configuration, and administration of Zoho One applications

• Support integrations, data processing, and building backend logic across systems.

• Design and implement scalable workflows, systems and architecture to automate processes and optimize business operations across legal, finance, and internal teams.

• Build and maintain Zoho Creator/Deluge custom applications to automate complex processes and enhance system functionality in alignment with business needs

• Own system integrations between Zoho and internal/external platforms (APIs, third-party tools, databases).

• Partner with stakeholders across the firm to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, bugs, and user queries, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

• Maintain data integrity, system performance, and security best practices across business systems.

• Create and maintain clear technical documentation, including workflows, integrations, and system architecture.

• Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and scalability within the company

What We’re Looking For:  

• Demonstrable experience as a Zoho Developer / Zoho One Specialist in a complex, multi-module environment

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Deluge scripting and workflow automation, working knowledge of Python (or similar scripting language)

• Hands-on experience with Zoho One suite implementation, customization, and administration, including building custom applications from scratch in Zoho Creator

• Demonstrated experience with API integrations and connecting Zoho with third-party systems.

• Solid understanding of business process mapping and translating requirements into technical solutions.

• Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments (legal, finance, or professional services is a plus).

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a proactive mindset.

• Ability to produce clear, structured technical documentation.

• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate with global stakeholders.

• Highly organized with strong ownership and accountability as an independent contractor
