Introducing our Mobile team 👋

Our Mobile team are the people who build the travel companion in your pocket. They own the mobile app that allows you to travel smart and the buy-flow process that helps you get there. You will be an Android specialist in one of our many cross functional product teams. Our squads are paired up to company level 'Strategic Themes' which set the tone for the kind of product roadmap the squad will primarily be working on delivering. Key technologies include: Kotlin, Coroutines, Jetpack Compose, Dagger, SOLID principles with a huge focus on quality and clean code.

As an Engineer at Trainline, you will... 🚄

• Be a part of a cross-functional team that will contribute to the design and implementation of our software in the product for Android users.
• Appreciate the value of agile and of engineering practices, and solid, clean code.
• Be actively involved in all aspects of the product lifecycle.
• Work closely with the team and Product to help drive & deliver roadmaps.
• Help to build and deliver software using Agile practices (SCRUM, two weeks iterations), continuous integration and pair programming.
• Be delivering new functionalities and features, using the best tools and techniques for the job.

• Have good working experience with Kotlin
• Are enthusiastic for a great user experience
• Have a passion for continuous delivery
• Have experience working with Git
• Have solid grasp of Design Patterns, SOLID & Clean Code Principles, CI/CD...
